Synopsis

The elderly Dilly awaits the visit of her daughter, Eleanora, from London, hoping for a glad reunion. Her previous life passes before her from her emigration to America in the 1920s to her return to Ireland, and her marriage. In her sudden departure, Eleanora leaves behind a journal of their troubled relationship.
