Synopsis

Tristram Abberley, a poet in the 1930's, died fighting for the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War. When, fifty years later, his sister, Beatrix, is murdered, her niece is stunned. It soon becomes apparent that Beatrix has been the victim of a conspiracy which leads to the revelation of long-buried family secrets and a vendetta which continues.
