Book 5 of the Earth's Children series: Sequel to 'The Plains Of Passage' (3294). Ayla and Jondalar have trekked across Europe to reach Jondalars home. At first his tribe are wary of Ayla but gradually she starts to learn their ways and fit in, at the same time she is able to teach them a great deal.
