Synopsis
Aristocratic Lydia and her mother, exiled from Russia by the Revolution, have taken refuge in China. As destitution looms Lydia is saved from certain death by Chang An Lo. When the two fall in love they face prejudice, shame, kidnap and betrayal as their attraction is tested to the limits.
