Synopsis
When they take over a pub, 'The Sixpenny Winner', Ada Hargreaves and her husband believe that they have escaped the slums and can now provide their family with a better life. When Doug the barman leaves, Ada ignores her instinct and employs Duncan. This proves to be a fatal mistake for Ada and her family.
