By Sue Gee

Synopsis

William Harriman, recently retired from the Treasury, contemplates his life as a widower, estranged from his children. A collection of antique china is his main pleasure and occupation. His three lunatic, country cousins send him a lodger, Janice Harper, hoping that she will 'get a life' at last. Gradually Janice becomes a part of William's lonely life.
