THE PITS

When Anna finds a skeleton of an iceman who lived in 7,500 BC, a ghost and friend of the iceman tells the story of life long ago and of a hostile tribe called The Pits'.

Radiation has made it impossible to go outside for eight months of the year. There are rebels, however, who wish to reclaim the outdoors despite the penalties if caught. Violet is chief of the rebels and has an uncanny ability to catch glimpses of the future, but even she is unprepared for what happens when a little group visits the Undercliff.
