Synopsis
Matters were going from bad to worse towards the end of term at Grange Hill, especially for Tucker Jenkin. Here he was, for instance, being given a last warning by the Head: ‘Grange Hill and you do not suit one another at the moment. One has to change.’ Any more trouble and Tucker would be for the chop, a prospect that delighted eavesdropper Doyle. But even when Tucker tried to toe the line, things didn’t go right. He thought Penny’s fundraising plan of a sponsored walk was a big yawn and suggested instead a sponsored silence. But Trisha countered with a sponsored slurp-in and everything slid from the sublime to the ridiculous.
