The story of the four days prior to the sinking of the Titanic told from the perspective of Morgan, the American nephew of J. Pierpont Morgan, owner of the White Star shipping line. INJURY TIME

Edward is throwing a dinner party with Binny , his mistress. Aware that she has long been denied those small intimacies that his wife takes for granted, he wants to give her a chance to feel more involved in his life, to socialise with some of his friends (the discreet ones). Things are a little awkward to begin with, but everything seems to be going well until some uninvitedguests arrive, and it doesn't look like Edward is going to make it home on time. Narrated by several characters, this is the tale of Master Georgie's journey from Liverpool to the battlefield of Inkerman in the Crimean War. All four characters are linked by an incident in the past which changed their lives forever.
