Synopsis
As a child Jan Muller had done a little homesteading and when she met Harry Little in San Cristobal she was swept into marriage with him. Together with their daughter, Rebecca, they went to live in the the deep wilderness of northern Brazil where she, near blind and partially deaf, was the only one to survive the horror of a mysterious disease.
