Synopsis

The sequel to Autumn Journal (11139) which McNeice described as a long occasional poem written in the final months of that year. Coming fifteen years later in 1953, Autumn Sequel (subtitled A Rhetorical Poem in XXVI cantos) is written in a similar style.
