Synopsis

An African-American lawyer, infamous for his lawsuits alleging racism by LAPD police officers, is murdered on the eve of a sensational trial. Harry Bosch, facing a suspect list that includes half the LAPD, finds himself yet again in charge of a case that no one else will touch, and he's got to take a long, hard look at some of his colleagues in a police department that is rife with suspicion and hatred.
