After defeating the Crowood witch and saving the day, Ivy, Maggie and the rest of the Double Trouble Society are on the lookout for their next big adventure. They won't have to wait long - there are three new kids in town and they're all behaving very mysteriously . . . The Double Trouble Society know how to handle witches but can they manage vampires, werewolves and ghost as well?

Ivy and Maple have been best friends ever since they were born at exactly the same minute 12 years earlier. They're always on the look-out for a new adventure, but unfortunately Crowood Peak is officially the most boring town in the world. Or at least it was until children start to mysteriously disappear and, even stranger, none of the grown-ups seem to have noticed....It's up to the Double Trouble Society to work out what's going on. All the evidence points to the old mansion next door with strange green lights in the windows and a new owner who looks suspiciously like a witch! Can Ivy and Maple solve the mystery of Hokum House and rescue their friends, or will they be next on the witch's list of victims?

INTO THE SPOTLIGHT

Brilliant Aunt Maude visits seasides the world over and has become quite the pebble collector. Pebbles of all shapes, sizes and colours and even one that looked a bit like Elvis Presley if you squinted a bit. Her favourite pebbles, however, are Marigold, Mabel and Morris. One by one, and by strange and unusual ways, each child arrives at the stage door of Brilliant Aunt Maude's theatre in the heart of London, home to an extraordinary cast of performers. There's Dante the miraculous magician, Petunia the storyteller and seventy-year-old contortionists - the Fortune Sisters! But ticket sales are dwindling and the curtains might have to close - for the final time. Until one day, as the Pebbles are exploring the many nooks and crannies of the theatre, they stumble upon something they were never meant to find . . . something that just might save the theatre after all . . .
