EXECUTION

England 1586. Giordano Bruno brings shocking new intelligence to Sir Francis Walsingham. A band of Catholic Englishmen are plotting to kill Queen Elizabeth and spring Mary Queen of Scots from prison to take the English throne in her place. Bruno is surprised to find that Walsingham is aware of the plot, and is allowing it to progress. His hope is that Mary will put her support in writing - and condemn herself to a traitor's death. Bruno is tasked with going undercover to join the conspirators. Can he stop them before he is exposed? Either way a Queen will die; Bruno must make sure it is the right one....

HERESY

Giordano Bruno, a Dominican priest and free thinker fleeing from the Inquisition, arrives in London and comes to the attention of Sir Francis Walsingham, spymaster to Elizabeth 1st. Assassination plots are rife in Elizabethan England, and Walsingham sends Bruno undercover to Oxford to expose a Catholic conspiracy. First book of the series.

PROPHECY

Autumn, 1583: Queen Elizabeth's rule is under threat. Plans to put Mary Stuart on the throne of England are secretly being laid, and an astrological phenomenon believed to herald the death of an age and the dawn of another has led to frenzied speculation of terrible events to come. Book 2 of the series.

SACRILEGE

Summer, 1584. The Protestant Prince William of Orange has been assassinated by a fanatical Catholic, and there are whispers that Queen Elizabeth will be next. Fear haunts the streets of London, and plague is driving citizens away. Giordano Bruno, philosopher and spy, chooses to remain, and finds that someone is following him. Book 3 of the series.

TREACHERY

Summer, 1585: Francis Drake prepares an expedition across the Atlantic to seize major Spanish ports. When a ship's captain is brutally murdered, it becomes clear that someone plans to destroy the expedition before it begins.
